One recurring pattern I saw across many SMB advertisers—especially in professional services and e-commerce—was that their campaigns were built for desktop users, even though most of their traffic (and purchases) were happening on mobile. This mismatch was quietly draining performance: ads looked misaligned, landing pages weren’t optimized, and conversion paths broke halfway through.

I started by reframing their entire approach around mobile-first behaviour.

I rebuilt their event mapping to reflect how users actually moved through the mobile journey, shifted delivery toward mobile-native placements like Instagram Reels, Stories, and Facebook Feed Mobile, and redesigned their CTAs and creative formats for vertical viewing. For several advertisers, even simple adjustments—like changing copy density or improving the first three seconds of the creative—made a noticeable difference.

Along the way, I coached each advertiser through the “why” behind the changes, helping them adopt mobile-first thinking rather than desktop assumptions.

The results were immediate and meaningful: mobile app adoption jumped by 30%, engagement deepened, and users moved through the funnel with far less friction. Mobile stopped being a bottleneck—and became their strongest driver of conversions.
