🔥 My Role at UPL

At UPL, I worked across product marketing, GTM strategy, market intelligence, key account management, and regional growth, contributing to both pharma and agro divisions. My work spanned new molecule launches, SAP-driven analytics, tolling operations, key account expansion, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.

I conducted deep market research for new molecules (including anti-retroviral intermediates), used tools like SciFinder, ROW2, DGFT import–export data, and led lifecycle & demand forecasting that directly influenced product pipeline decisions. I managed a $50M corporate portfolio, executed pricing and contract strategies, strengthened key accounts like BASF, Bayer, Lupin, Meghmani, and drove cross-sell initiatives.

I scaled South India operations across 25+ products, expanded into new territories, and led GTM initiatives during COVID—achieving 107% of annual targets at 23% margins, while supporting continuity for essential supply chains.

Simultaneously, I led tolling operations, managed SAP analytics, delivered 30+ market intelligence reports, and drove visibility at major pharma events like CPHI and Chemexpo.

My work strengthened UPL’s market positioning, improved revenue reliability, and built a stronger foundation for product launches, pricing, customer strategy, and region-wise expansion.
